Your first encounter with the Daggerfall Devil occurs as he attempts to escape the network through one of the Comatose Bodies in Corporea Secretus. You will find him next along the path within the Network, listening to his Rogue Mind talk about his crimes at pivotal points in his life. Finally, you'll face the Daggerfall Devil himself within the Rectory Network's Memory Vault.

When you first engage him in combat, he shouts:

Daggerfall Devil: "No! You will not stop me from getting out!"

He speaks at various points throughout the fight, namely when his health falls to certain percentages and additional enemies are spawned. He summons Death Hounds at 70%:

Daggerfall Devil: "You're not the first to try and stop me!"

He summons Wraiths at 55%:

Daggerfall Devil: "You're weak, like all the rest!"

He summons Tortured Urgis at 30%:

Daggerfall Devil: "This will not be my end!"
